Laundry Line
Laundry Line is an all paper collage image on a painted sky background. Shadows and high lights were added digitally in Photoshop. The clothes are crisp and clean drying in the fresh air. Seems like a good idea until the little black bird craps on your linens!

Really nice work! I've never done much collage, but this is soooo inspirering!
thanks ;)
Funny, growing up we hung a lot of clothes out and I never remember them getting pooped on. Maybe my Mom would tell a different story.
Anyway, I just love your submission to the topic!
This is really very good. Love it!
wonderful collage and illo!!
great illo style, love it :)
oh I LOVE IT!!! I'm a sucker for collage illos & you've got it right! Nice composition and overall feel to the image :-)
great illo! & thanks for your lovely comment on my blog.
This is so cute! I love the polka-dot bra & panty set! In fact I have a similar set posted in http://tutu-incorporated.blogspot.com/2006/06/chapter-6.html
Great illustration!
There's a real warmth to your collage. It kind of hits home the nostalgic vibe.
And there's nothing better than fresh clothes that have been hanging out on the line. I remember many a mad dash out to retrieve them before storms would roll in.
Nice. Love the fresh feel to this. :-)
This looks great! It has a very dimensional feeling...i am impressed with the highlights and shadows you added. What a great composition...lots of wonderful details...the polka dotted underwear, the stitching on the clothes, the crow looking at the underpants that fell on the ground. great job!
As always, a beautiful illo.
Congratulations
The crouching crow looks wicked
Very nice. I like the tone of the colors, earthy and calm. That bird definitely looks like he's plotting something.
wow, i love the 3d aspects of this one, great illo!
Fabulous! I love the 3D effect and use of textures. Wow!
So sweet! I really love the patterns you use to create those textures, like the denim jeans and the patchwork ground. Wonderful!
Collage was always so frustrating for me, and not as 'fun' as drawing/painting because my fingers wouldnt do what my brain wanted them to and i made a mess of everything I tried (i guess I lacked the patience). So i always admire artists who could work with paper cutouts or collage so neatly and have it come out as nice as this. Wonderful job! Ill be checking your blog for more. :)
AWESOME lovely illo!
